Musical opportunities
Music is a significant spiritual practice at Trinity .. when we engage in singing we are praying, we are uniting as one body, we are listening for one another’s voice, and we are raising our hearts and minds in praise.
Trinity Chancel Choir
Trinity’s Chancel Choir invites us to imagine the word proclaimed in a variety of styles and genres. This group of friends and neighbours have grown into a most remarkable community where the Spirit flows freely amongst the Choir as they find support, encouragement, accountability and love with one another while leading the congregation in singing.
Trinity Gospel Singers
Generally meeting weekly, this group tackles difficult repertoire and offer it as a gift in the context of worship.
Trinity Chancel Band
This group offers a variety of gifts from percussion to guitar to flute to violin to piano – each week is not only a delight to enjoy the musical accompaniment or solos but to feel the release of God’s Spirit in worship.
Trinity Drums
Trinity Drums has become one of Trinity’s ambassadors of music throughout the City of Vernon. Starting as a drumming circle, this group has grown to become a voice of the Spirit emanating in places throughout the community.

Trinity Dinner Club
What an awesome opportunity to get to know your fellow Trinitarians … this ministry is located offsite, gathering in each other’s homes to enjoy wonderfully prepared food, share conversation and generally have a great time together. Twice during the year, the entire group gathers as one to deepen their friendships at a summertime picnic and a December dinner. This group is always open to welcoming new folks joining in.
Women’s Retreat (Program Core)
Exploring different themes each year, this annual event is an avenue for Trinity women to find Christian fellowship and opportunities for faith exploration throughout the weekend event.
The Men’s Group
Lots of laughter … lots of good fellowship - this group meets weekly for breakfast to discuss a variety of topics and to plan activities. They have become masters of the Trinity kitchen in catering and have successful annual garage sales at the church.
United Church Women
2007 marked the 45th year of the U.C.W. at Trinity. There were many celebrations and acknowledgements of many years of commitment, fellowship and faith. Continuing the tradition of the U.C.W. – there are many times throughout the year where catering is used as a great source of fund-raising for Trinity. Spring and Fall Teas – funerals – community events – the annual Christmas cookie event – and many more …. The UCW are in constant service to the church participating in gardening, camperships for Camp Hurlburt and many other outreach projects sponsored by Trinity. Traveling to other church communities to share in their special events or other United Church sponsored events – is a common event to Trinity UCW members. We are a busy and active group of women, striving to live our lives with the intent of the U.C.W. Purpose
To unite women of the congregation
for the total mission of the church,
and to provide a medium through which
they may express their loyalty to Jesus Christ, in
Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.
